This is a difficult assignment, this, what is this all about (?). If one were to say this is what it’s all about, the summation may not be correct or complete. On the other hand, if one says this is what it’s not about, the negative paradigm conveys a vacuum of illegible black hole antimatter.
What this person is all about is the arts and humanities. This is conveyed in any ways possible in these trying times so changeable and fickle. With lifetime experience in most of the art forms of this day and anachronistic ways, perhaps even futuristic maze, it is hoped that these columns will persevere indefinitely as such or in some manner befitting mankind’s yearning for entertainment and enlightenment. The Greeks had it best: enlightenment entertainment all in one act. Socrates was the main and leading actor and Plato his footlight mummer.
What this website is all about is mainly a forum for literary publication with addenda of feedback to some extent and conveyance of information to various elements of society with regard to both social issues and artistic in hopefully lasting enterprise and relevance. It is anticipated that whatever one does in true desire for hope, graciousness, benevolence, mercy and peace will somehow help to convey to the world a sense of balance desired and worked toward.
There shall be consistent upgrades and insertions added by day and by month and year, to be sure, as events and commentaries will inevitably be forthcoming. I welcome other input too and appreciate all remittances that adhere to quality and insight and sometimes even lack thereof for offset in sardonic mode. Be forewarned however that criticism will not be limited to the polite and sedate mannerisms of the politically correct epistemology. We don’ need to show you no steenking badges.
What this is all about henceforth is a forum for intelligent repartee and arts. Let it be.
